Question on the hood scoop that has the slight distortion. do you know what resin was used? i have roughly 20+ years in composite experience and would be more than happy to give you some pointers shoot me an email if you would like.

as for the Ignition Solution parts. their shop used to be across the parking lot from ours but they moved out a few years ago. not sure what happen with them. the owner seemed like a nice guy.

back on on topic lets see those unichips on the market ASAP!

Thanks for the offer on helping us out with the hood scoop but the one that is warping from the heat is the STOCK one . Those turbos are running hot but we have something coming to take care of that issue within the next week to ten days.

D all of the above . The usual procedure is a New Vendor announcement , followed by forum chat and then working it onto our web site . That part seems to drag the longest as we do not do the actual input ourselves but have to have a web master do it for us . Rest assured you wil see it here first.

Peter has been compiling the numbers and wants to make a concise presentation as we did for the unichip. That will be done before they are available for purchase. The improvement in the acceleration figures will be more relevant that the dyno numbers with this particular application .

Yes we have a GPS based testing unit, that will prove any on-road improvements due to better flow/ram effects and cooling due to better intercooler efficiency. All this will give us true on road numbers that could never be accomplished with a dyno...

new question/concern. i love the idea of having the air forced back into the CAI, but i was thinking, what about when its raining, would that damage anything since it would force some water back there too?

Moisture (or rain water) will not be an issue with our system, think of it as a pressurized box with low-spot relief valves.. Simple elegant and very effective.

The list would read like this...

AGS-R price: TBD I know you like to get an excact price but I can't at
this time (soon very soon).

R56 Ram air scoop Price: $199

R56 Heatshield Price: $199 give or take depending on final finish.

The AGS-R will be available painted to match your car, and or a carbon fiber finish for a small charge.

It is different and going to be MUCH cheaper. Hopefully will make more than Gruppe M's 6hp.

Randy,
The Unichip I used for awhile on my M3 did not have cold-start circuitry and there was 1/2 minute of pretty rough running on a cold day. Will M7's Unichip for the MINI have a cold-start mode?

Good question and one we will have to get with Unichip to get the answer. They are still polishing this one off before release and have a few more things to complete. Our test unit for example had to be hard wired into the car, not a easy task, but one that you will not need to go through once the production units are available.
