^^^ so heaven forbid there be some crossover? i think it would be a great reference point if we could have a thread with all kinds of cars, stock, modded, turbo, etc all in one thread to see what people are doing. I dont think the name on the forum should stop us from sharing and learning from first gen owners

Stock vs. Turboback

Here is a comparison of my stock R56 and my R56 w/ the Alta TBE.

Those gains seem awfully low for a turboback. Does the car feel faster than 10whp and 3wtq? I couldn't imagine the gains being that low unless something hasn't adapted or something....

Hmmm, either the dynos are reading incredibly high (correction factors?) or MINI/BMW are REALLY sandbagging the numbers. Which do we reckon it is?

To be honest with you, the car felt faster leaving the dyno, so I think it adapted to it while we were doing runs. I'm going to go back in a couple of days.

It feels much faster than 10whp and 3wtq.

What was the weather like for your dyno, that seems to be a big factor.

Do you think it would be seen as a learning thing or would it be seen as teasing them?

I love that mini underrated these cars.... insurance of a 177hp car, power of a 180whp car. ROCK ON!
