Andy, what was actually interesting on that post where you got the dyno chart was the numbers for the Cooper with the unavailable for NA JCW package...

The stock numbers for a MINI One are 90HP correct?

I think the first dyno was on a mini one with a green drop in filter, not the twister.

Since we are at the number of people needed to get the best price, can the intake be purchased/shipped soon? just curious, I'm kind of anxious.

If people are anxious to get the intake, they can contact me regarding shipping now if they do not wish to wait for the test results, or the dyno numbers. If that is the case e-mail me at mini@thepilo.com with your full details (real name, address, phone) so we can get you going.

I don't know, but look here - it's probably the smaller of the two listed near the bottom of the page.

I've also been wondering why we can't get these in the other colors - do a "search by car" here and you'll see they come in silver, red, blue, carbon look, crystal and clear!

Regarding the colors. Currently Green Filter USA only imports the silver. I can inquire about arrival date of the other colors.

Oh Yea.. Here are the instructions in english...

1. remove and set aside the "air box" as well as the fresh air scoop. (image A)
2. Disconnect the electrical connection and the tubing "A" from the "air box (air filter box??)." (image A)
3. Connect the Twister filter to the original tubing with the help of the provided sleeve. (Image B)
4. Position the Twister, equiped with its collar and mounting foot on the original "air box" moiunt. (image B)
5. Mount the Twister with he provided screws.
6. Attach the air duct to the Twister et then position it on the fresh air scoop so that it will carriy the fresh air to the filter. (image B)
7. Position and mount the electrical connection and the air duct with the provided plasitc collars.
8. Position the twister so that it wont touch ANY machanical unit (moving parts).
NOTE: make sure that the tubing is correctly placed so that the air passage is unobstructed, making sure it has a clear path to travel to the filter.

If you look at the UK site, MINI is listed under BMW for the Dynatwist (same) and the price is $236 USD.

Hey All, That is the European Site. They do not sell to America. If you get it from them, there are hefty Shipping costs and stuff. I deal Directly with there US head Quarters. They do not know why they have the US price listed, as it is inaccurate. I promise you all that I am giving you all the best deal for the US.

And Yes.. They sell it for 299? So if I didn't carry the product, You'd be spending an extra 90 dollars for this intake in the US!!

DANDP - You should have the intake on tuesday for testing, I'll PM you the tracking Info tonight.

The reson I asked is cause I am looking at :
http://www.greenfilterusa.com/twister.asp

PILO, how does this adapt to the stock hosing? When I gave Dan D a filter, his Cooper's hosing was ~67mm I believe and this green guy is 85mm. Is there some sort of adapter included? Have you tried it on your S?

This is a custom kit for the mini, Not just the Twister Filter. That is the difference in price. Also that is the reason it is only available in the US in silver right now. No, I did not try this on my MCS, but I have sent one out to get tested and we should see the results soon.

Any updates on the California CARB certification process? Do you know how long it will take to get the intake certified? I'll get the intake now and wait for the CARB sticker once it's passed. I guess this is how it will play out???

I have passed the Carg Info on to Green Filter. They said that they were going to persue this. I have no idea how long it takes. I will keep on them though to keep the process going to make sure that it does get done. I will keep you posted on this info as I get more information

The reason why Diamond doesn't really post Dyno number is becuase they get their dyno number from england. You know the whole deal with different atmospheric pressures, and tempertaures. I don't know, I guess it seems like a good deal. Hope it works out for you guys...
Yes, of course everyone knows that English horsepower and American horsepower are different:
