You ran with an Evo VIII?
I've had close calls with them in my supercharged M3. I'm putting down 315 hp 275 trq - to the wheels.
I've seen these cars on the track. They're putting down some good times.
Not calling BS, but it seems highly probable that the guy in the Evo wasn't pushing it.
A modded Cooper may be quick, but not that quick.
Was this from a standstill? Or, a roll?
AWD allows some great launches.
