Umm, guys....so, where DOES the water go?
It seems to me the water drainage theory fits pretty well too. As to the convoluted shape of the thing, I wonder if you really need to invoke the physics of acoustics to understand it. Doesn't the oddly shaped and very limited space available for this thing REQUIRE it to adopt an odd shape just to fit there regardless of its function?

I realise this from 2003 and will be a long shot....No idea if anyone will get a notification I have posted....
I myself am trying to get rid of the resonator, i can get it to wiggle about, but not remove it!
The photos posted do not work anymore, so I'm at a bit of a loss how to proceed.
Even now this seems to be the most detailed writing of how to remove the resonator.
If anyone has any pictures or any more advice, it would be greatly appreciated!!
