It is rather crazy.

That's my favorite part about these guys, they develop all these crazy, off the wall, things, that are awesome!

I'm sooo glad they "rebirthed" the AGS for the R56. I'm still playing with the idea of getting a hold of one for my R53.

that sequential shifter is pretty insane!!

I would expect it to cost SEVERAL thousand though and it looks like it takes up the majority of the trunk...

As cool as it is, i still enjoy rowing the gears...

Now if i could have 2 MINIs... one of them would definitely be getting that system installed.

Thanks for the positive words The cost is up there but not quite that high. The shifter system is about $ 3800 plus install.

Mini should have consulted M7 When building the factory car

Great job guys,

I think every factory car should have their rear diffuser that way no one would mistake it for a regular cooper s

$3800 + install is actually quite reasonable.

Amazing. A third thread about the same product. Maybe the mods can merge them?

P.S. Several means more than one.

M7 are the standard bearers when it comes to innovative design crossed with quality performance products as far as I'm concerned. I'm going to be putting their Super AGS and FMIC in my JCW factory car this summer and couldn't feel more comfortable with the source of the parts. Peter and his design team have some serious talent.

wow... for what it does, thats a VERY reasonable price!

The super ags system looks pretty sweet as well.. makes the enginebay remind me of a wrx! the only downside is the paper filter.

That's really cool but having to use paddle shifters while still using the clutch doesn't make any sense.

I'm all about driving stick. Every car I have till the day I die will be stick. If I can afford an Enzo...I'm converting it to stick.

That said it may take 200ms for the paddle system to change gears but when you're throwing the whole clutch aspect into it that time is irrelevant. If anything I'd rather have a stick shift that you can shift without a clutch. ...And they have that. Because it makes sense. Nothing against M7. Mad props for creating this. Great engineering and very cool design. Just my opinion.
