A Stop Watch, Really
Come on guys go to the track or use a stopwatch for internal testing. To go on a forum and post 0-60 under 6 seconds recorded on a stopwatch as fact is sad.
At least calibrate a G Tech pro correctly and use that over a stopwatch. Those if calibrated properly are almost always accurate within a tenth if you can find a flat quarter or eighth mile stretch.
I calibrated my G Tech Pro at California Speedway Drag strip and it now reads within a tenth of my time slips every time. My best quarter was 14.51 @ 95.9 my G Tech on the same pass in the car registered 14.56 @ 96.1. My car regularly 0-60's in 5.85 to 6.1 depending on my 60 foot. There was another Auto R56 JCW S that ran 14.4 at 96 at his local track. I have recently added an ITG filter, Boost tubes, and the JCW Factory Smooth inlet tube. I am going to mix 100 and 91 and run 94 octane so I am hoping for a 14.3 next time out with the higher octane and new mods. If I can hit that number I think that is about as fast a my car can safely and reliably go. I do want to be able to run 20 hard laps in a row on a road coarse without any issues so I will stop the power mods.
