RMW Dyno Tune in Charlotte, NC :18th/19th July
EDIT 6-23-2008 22h30 EST: From now forward I will only be updating this thread on the M2C2 page. Here is the thread link https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...=1#post2321532
This is to avoid any confusion by trying to keep two threads up to date in different areas on the NAm forum.

I am trying to gather support for a Dyno tune by Jan from Revolution Mini Works. I need 12 to 16 people to sign up to make this work.
I have spoken to Jan and he believes that he is available. I am awaiting his confirmation to lock the dates down. We may have to reschedule but I wanted to give everybody a head up on this and start getting people signed up.
There is a Dynapak Dyno available in Thomasville. It is about a little more than an hours drive north of Charlotte. The dates I am looking at are 18 & 19th of July. Idealy I would like to get 8 Mini's for each Day, to help keep te costs down.
So if you have the regular Cooper S mods (15% Pulley, CAI & Cat Back), you will benefit from a set of JCW Injectors and an RMW tune. If you do not have the 380cc injectors, now might be the time to get some ordered up.
Let me know who wants to get a tune.
Tunes $350.00
Dyno $135-$140 (Depending how many people we get)
Here is the Provisonal List as @ 6-18-2008 @ 6:30pm:
Mini7
Minimarks
El Griton
Littlehandegan
BlimeyCabrio
CoopsKart
Midnight Dave
PGT
SNYPER
Bluesmini
Mark KP- did you want to sign up??? It isn't clear in your post.
Dan Zipkin
Chris Deal??
The Doc
Bryan
Chris-Custome AV???
If I have missed anyone, holler at me!

Hey Guys,
I am running two posts. One on the main NAM forum and one on our local M2C2 forum for our area. I thought that we would get better coverage that way. I will be checking both to put the list together.
The first 16 will get on the list and will be confirmed once they pay for there spots. We just need Jan to confirm and we can move forward from there.
I wanted to give everybody a heads up, to avoid any confusion.

I am getting Dan @ Grassroots Garage to install all my upgrades. He does great work and a good fella to deal. He did my pulley and installed my IE adjustable camber plates. I would highly recommend him for any work on our cars.

i don't think there is an actual "list" i guess he's just going to count the replies on the threads? would be nice to see an actual numbered list to see were we all stand. just to be safe, i posted on both threads... the other thread can be found here.

2nd on the "please update the first post in either or both of these threads with the list and make sure Paul/Blimey and Dave/Midnight are on it" request! ;-)
Do I "have" to get injectors? (I just picked up some Rota Slipstreams and now I want tires for them, too!) It's an '06 with a Helix CAI, M7 16% pulley and Invidia exhaust. No other engine mod's planned, heading to suspension after the tune.

you dont "have" to, but if you want optimum performance from his tune, its highly recommended.

Check the forum and ebay for some used 380cc injectors. Helix, outmotoring & Minispeed have them for $280-$300. I have not checked pricing lately.
Do you think that Luke would be interested in a Tune with all his mods? I spoke to him at Hendrik the previous weekend.
Are you going to be running any events?

Hey, Joe,
Luke, Chris, and Doc could definitely benefit from a tune, tell 'em Saturday if you see em? I'll be running the BRP with the guys from Winston-Salem.
Work has been nutz at the office and I've been travelling too, plus the wifey stopped working Saturdays, so not a lot of time for events lately. Of course, that frees up cash for mods and tunes. ;-)
Will definitely make the BMWCCA event in the fall, and hope to hit something sooner than that...
