I removed my factory noisemaker and i found 2 broken peices of plastic sitting inside on top of the bellow. Anyone know what they may be from???

What if you install the adapter and an actual BOV on the cold side? Is there a benefit? Or just for noise

its plastic from someone removing the intake pipe. have you had a timing chain, or someother engine related repair? the teeth just break from time to time. its hard to save them.
