So going along with a previous post of mine, I noticed my SS ALTA 3in turbo back tends to grow substaially when hot. I have decided that its not normal, and that the car is showing an emotion.....I think its his (the car) way of showing he's ready to go, standing at attention. You get my point....My car gets erections
usually after driving really hard ( no pun intended) through the twisties...WTH Please some one tell there car does this too

Stainless expands when hot. When the exhaust is 12 feet long like it is on the R56 a half inch expansion is totally normal. That's only a 0.3% expansion.
