For the record, you are talking about two different models for the exhaust, BTT has first gen (supercharged) H8w8in has the 2nd gen (turbo).
I have the Milltek on my car and it has not experienced any added vibration. I don't think i have even read about it before. The only thing that comes to mind is the additional bracing on the convertible which might be causing the problem. There are supposed to be two different models of the exhaust, one with an additional bend for the convert's addtional bracing. Maybe they sold you the wrong one?

I've sold and installed Millteks on the R56. The sound was pretty good, but one of my customers had a drone with it on the highway. Also the Milltek downpipe isn't avail unless you want a check engine light. I did several things to try and make the Milltek downpipe work, but it never would permently get rid of the light. Also the R56 Milltek had several joints for adjustment, but ended up making install a pain and didn't work well with the JCW rear bumper. These are some of the reasons we started making our own WMW turbo back exhaust. Don't get me wrong a Milltek for your R50/R53 is Perfect, but the R56 will need some improvement.
Yes the Milltek exhaust will bolt up to the stock Cat.

Regarding the issue with BTT, there is an issue with the car. I just wanted to post this to be clear. A catback exhaust cannot cause these symptoms. On the other hand, we are happy to inspect the system in person to insure it is functioning properly. We turn our backs on no one. Pete Ryckaert, Stratmosphere. 1.866.533.1777

you are welcome to fly down to Florida to inspect my car "at your own expense" i think i invested way too much money and time trying resolving this issue.
btw, this was Greg's last email to me..maybe Jan (RMW) can en light me on this.
I spoke to the owner of Milltek for quite some time about this. Its something neither of us have ever seen. Stratmosphere alone has sold over 100 Milltek Mini cabrio systems. Several hundred have been sold worldwide. We’ve never encountered this problem. If you study the video carefully, you’ll see that the oscillation is coming from in front of the catback. I’m almost certain that your aftermarket header’s increased rigidity is causing the problem. The increased weight of the stock catback system would have reduced the movement which is why you didn’t notice it with the stock catback installed. Our joint recommendation is to remove the aftermarket manifold assembly.
where they automatics? then i guess MINIGURU@WAY MOTOR WORKS never encountered any problems either.
what I'm trying to say is, caught in the middle, between a rock and a hard place.
please take this into sincerity, I'm not trying to slander your company, just stating facts.

My R56 MCSa is on the catback and it fits well with the JCW rear bumper (slight adjustment needed). I have it installed since May this year and I LOVE it. Not only does it sound great, there also seems to be significant power gains. No vibration and the drone only become sort of an issue at speed of 150km/h & above.
Just to share some positive experiences.
