Sorry, just when you thought it was safe to just choose UUC for the MCS there is another option (sorta JCW kit like but with a different Y connector)

And for the MC this dark beast may be worth a look (please give me back that low end torque!)

From Diamond Racing:
Quality - Second To None
Full ISO 9001, TUV certification is your guarantee of quality. Every exhaust part is manufactured in-house, every component is tested - from machine made parts to final hand finishing. All exhausts are supplied fully boxed, complete with fitting kits. Devil exhausts give you everything you could demand from an exhaust product - high quality, perfect fit, good looks, plus that special Devil sound.
Devil exhausts bolt on in place of the OEM system and include connection pipe(s), muffler(s), tip(s), and necessary hardware

Some pics:

single exhaust for MC

Dual exhaust for MCS

anybody got this yet? Any dyno numbers?
nice black finish. Competitive prices.
Let the race begin.

I doubt it's as good as you're hoping...

From what I remember on it, #'s were low

I decided not to test this unit, as it requires the cutting and use of the stock exhaust, and it is not stainless steel. It still may be an excellent option for those on a budget.

If there is enough interest, I will get one and run the numbers, but with so many other options now available, I want to be sure to test the best stuff.

>>what is the price for the S?

DEVIL Cooper Performance Exhaust (S Series) $673.00

DEVIL Mini Cooper Performance Exhaust (Non S Series) $314.00 (compared to others at $500)

Fat? Looks like a water heater. But that's what makes it neat. Unique. Not everything needs to be stainless steel and last forever, be pretty under the car and cost twice as much. If people want a functional unit that lasts long enough 8-10 years then later some other exhaust can be added. Just another option.

Cutting? Yes. But there are some owners that don't mind and you can save on some cost so it is an option.

Randy- I think it would be worth testing the MC/MCS versions. Dyno numbers, sound (interior and exterior), fit and finish, ease of installation (get an MC owner to assist), seat of the pants feel, etc. 7 Hp-I assume for the MCS version? Lets see the data.

That $500 is for a full cat back. Back box only are running around $200-$250

Why $673? Can't I just buy two $40 mufflers and pay the shop $60 to weld up the Y and such?

Call me crazy, but at that price I'd never put that mild steel piece of crap on my car. $673, it damn well better outlast the life of the car (read: be made of stainless steel).

If it's not stainless steel, how can they charge more than a couple hundred bucks for the S version? Even that seems like a rip-off!

I am getting it. I will tell you what I think with it, my wires, and the cold air intake........and lighter wheels.

Xanthus,
OK-you're going for the "Devil". Great. It's black (neat look for your black MC) and although not rock bottom cheap- it might be a good option for some MC owners. True it is not a bolt on Cat-back with all pretty stainless steel.
Not everyone is looking for that type of exhaust system either.
Make some notes of the Devil out of the box, hardware and such. Fit and finish.
Ease of installation and the good stuff-
How does it sound compared to stock-interior and exterior sound.
How does it feel- on the dyno butt meter-?
Let us know if you recommend it-pros and cons.
