Turbo Conversion

Sadly, it seems as though my supercharger is on the way out due to bad seals/grinding gears, etc. I want to look at alternatives before buying a reman. s/c. I know that turbo conversions are possible. Can anyone give me a ballpark figure on the cost? I'm not looking to go crazy, maybe somewhere in the mid-200 hp range. Any insight or advice will be greatly appreciated.

$$$ is a very hard thing to gauge with these conversions, but you can figure about $3,000-4,000 dollars for your mild replacement with all costs... Just a guess from previous knowledge.

You might consider a Rotrex supercharger.

Anyone have a ballpark on what a Rotrex conversion would run?

You will have to ask Longboard or Jan...as Longboard is the only one with the kit right now. They are getting ready to release it

Unfortunately, there's basically no difference in cost between going crazy and just mid-200's power. You still need a whole new intake, exhaust, coolant system, and ECU setup.

If you're only looking for, say, 250HP, then just get Jan's cylinder head, cam, header, exhaust, and ECU tune and be done with it. It'll be hella faster than your setup now, and cost less than half that of fabbing your own full-on turbo project headache/nightmare.

1+
Jan's cylinder head, cam, header, exhaust, and ECU tune (the bomb).
add intake of your choice and Supercharger reduction pulley of your choice.

I'm looking in the same direction, but being overseas...RMW tune is outta the question...So I guess uni-chip is my only choice to mate with all his other parts unless......care to chime in Jan?
