I have on order the Alta intake/boost/inlet tube. What are guys thinking I should expect in a hp increase? I already have the Evotech tune if that makes a difference.

You should get a real nice sound from the intake, as far as hp difference, probably not enough to really notice a difference

actually once i installed the alta intake i had a noticable decrease in throttle response in the lower revs (under 2500). but the mid to upper revs were stronger and its sounds amazing.

1-3 HP

I SEE YOU DRANK THE ALTA DYNO PLOT COOL AID

The intake does sound and look good. You will not get any power just trade a little less bottom end for a little stronger top end.

Intake 0

Boost Tubes and Inlet tube 3

i think you should get your car re-tuned when you get the parts installed. itll allow for better flow through everything.

I will enjoy the sound. I will probably have it dyno'd before & after to see what the gains are..

Just a heads up

Once an ECU Solution becomes available (Besides the JCW One) and you raise boost a bit the parts you ordered will help. So eventually it will not be a waist of money.

Do a search and you will find a guy who dynod the Catback, Intake, and Boost tubes and got 4 or 5 HP

I already have the "new" Evotech ECU custom tune (the same one that Mini Madness is selling) that I had custom tuned on a dyno. I will probably have them install the new peices and see if a new tune is needed. If so I might do a dyno before and after again to see what the intake system does..
