I believe most do it this way. After a bit of experimenting, I now only use the custom Alta map (programmed for the installed add-on parts). No need to change the switch position, so no need to have the switch in the cabin.

Not a "Q" model, this one's on an R56 daily driver.

Mounted mine under the hood. Hard wired. Single MAP.

can't wait to get rid on my unichip and get a real tune when Alta releases it....officially don't like unichip, the issues never end, and Alta is not at fault at all.
