alta's full intake, installed & dyno'd!!
took the clubbie in to Dynocomp to get Alta's intake/boost tube/inlet tube & WMW's turbo wrap all installed (plus poly motor mounts). The guys at Dynocomp as always were great (Richard even took me out to lunch in his modified Porsche GT2!!) that car is fricken AWESOME!!!!
Anyways as most of you know I currently have the Evotech tuned ECU (same as mini madness), previously I pulled on the dyno a +28hp & +34 tq with the evotune alone (178hp & 205 tq)... Yesterday before we installed the intake we did a baseline to see where they car was and the dyno run came up with a slight decrease in hp & tq (174 & 199) than we had a few weeks ago, but still consistent (too many variables as to why). So with the baseline run they set off to install the parts.
After the install we strapped the clubbie back up and ran some more pulls. The first few runs you could tell the ECU was learning to work with the new parts. We eventaully ended up with 188hp & 207tq (+14 & +8).The REAL nice thing was the tq increase from 2500 ALL the way up to the cut off, HUGE improvment across the board!! I have attached a pic of the dyno, red is again just the Evotune, and blue is with the intake (intake/boost tube & inlet tube)...

On the clubman Exhaust, ours is FINALLY in production and will be available in a few weeks (I don't have the exact date.) You will be pleased that we beta tested units for MANY months to insure the highest HP gains, performance sound and no blats or drone. Works with our existing DP as well.
PM me your info and I will put you on the contact list as the release date gets closer.
Thanks again for your choice in ALTA products! It is appreciated!
