You just installed a GT28 on your mini and you don't know how to do that?

I'm sure you'll figure it out.

Why? It's tuned now?

Should be security torx, I don't see why the sensor couldn't come out. Could be wrong.

PUtting bigger pipe will yield issues big time. MAF calibrated for inside diameter of pipe. Hope you have a good tuning software.

The software must be tuned for the MAF diameter like Hector says. Very important. You need to confirm this with your tuner, not just play with the size. It makes a large difference.

From some of your posts it would seem you were born yesterday. You def photoshopped that turbo onto your car seen as you cant open an maf sensor

put the maf after the turbo where the pipe diameter is smaller.

Good thing the box your turbo kit came in wasn't glued shut.

Why not just install the MAF from the 2009 JCW. I believe it's bigger.

Exhaust Depot's response was the professional's way of calling bull****! It is odd that you have installed something nobody has done before but you can't take apart a simple sensor. I find it hard to believe that someone with supposedly significant technical knowledge believes that simply altering the size of a sensor will magically tie together your modified system.

Can't wait for the results...

I put mine in the cold air intake and let some of the air bypass it. runs sometimes a bit rough but lets in more air without recalibration. they do it on the WRX and other cars.

Where can I find my MAF sensor? I have an 03S w/98k on it and it gave me the SES light on my way home from work. The code was P0171 - running lean. I have read that cleaning the MAF sometimes helps, but where is it?

"your car has 2 MAP sensors..... NO MAF"

What would be the correct action to take since I received a P0171 code?

Thanks.

Where are these sensors? I am thinking that I paid for some bad gasoline (at least that's what the mechanic down the road propositioned) The autoparts manager at OReilly's said to put Lucas in the fuel and run it until it is almost empty then go somewhere else for gas.

Still, I need to know what I can do with a p0171 code and will it hurt if I continue driving it until replacement parts get to me? I took the day off thinking I would end up too far from home.
