I have the DDM, It will heat soak. Ill even make notation to prove it via scangauge.
You could always ask Big Howe about what hes data logged on his car.
He is very methodical when it comes to data logging.
And i would love to hear the AGS
Hey I had DDM too and I put the Heat Armour a gold tape I bought from CDOC, but it was like $49.99 a square yard, but significantly lowered temps.

As far as what he's doing to our existing units it's just some small tweaks to improve supercharger fitment on an already solid design.

update??

If I ever get a 2nd MCS, I would put the AGS plastic 2.0 and spray it with DEI Hi-Temp paint again or the 3.0 and wrap it with Gold Heat Armour.

i was digging around on the net looking for more info on this and found this.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

So this is the latest. Steve Tech at: http://www.customminishop.com/product/m7-ags.htm, is the vendor with the rights to the AGS. He is as we speak developing a V4 edition. The first one is at the manufacture being made. The CNC and machining is the easy part, the wiring harness is the hold up. In the older versions, the wiring harness had to be cut and spliced Steve said he would not market a part like that. He is confident that something can be done. The V3 edition was $479. US. He is aiming at trying to get under that price. Unfortunately there will have to be a minimum amount made to make this worth his while. He is aiming at this next month, October, in getting the first one back from the manufacture. Once he gets a final and a price, he said he will need down payments to proceed. I hope this answers a few questions?

---------------------------------------------------------------------
so it sounds like it is in the works

I would get one, not for the GP, but for a future R53 I hope to buy. I wonder if it would be a plastic one or aluminum, I had the V.2 one, they have some great thermal plastics now days like in the JCW and Dinan box.

edit: seen thread, it AL. responed to my own question.

also very interested, have money to lay out as well. BUT, I'd really like to understand the benefits. Also, is the AGS just the duct? Or is it multiple parts? And, whats the wiring harness for? Thanks all, keep the info coming.
