Drivetrain New RMW Power Numbers - 277hp
#27
Those numbers are so awesome. I can't believe everything else is stock. I wish I can start all over again with the mods on my MINI. *smacks forehead*
Did you need larger injectors though with those kinds of mods? What minor tweaks or future mods are going in the MINI?
Again, really impressive.

I need to stop tweaking on it as I have other toys to play with but a new diff, 02 tranny and the new, new race cam will probably go in soon.

What size injectors are you running?

Minimarks, 440's. They probably wouldn't go this far on their own, but I'm injecting a fair amount of secondary fuel so still working fine. I may change them out with other mods coming. I'm logging IDC so I know where they are at.
Miniracer, I think all the ratios of the 02-04 are closer but I could be wrong. So first and second are longer, but 6th is shorter.

Sorry, not real. We all know that the dyno Church uses reads way to high , it's been proven . Great job guys . I can't wait to get meth for my Jetta.
Went down to see Jan and do some testing with the Water/Alcohol injection system. Jan tweaked the tune a bit and here's what we got: 277whp and 211lb.ft. of torque. Here are the mods:
RMW Head
RMW Race Cam
RMW Race Exhaust
RMW Meth Kit
RMW Tune
and a 17% pulley.
Everything else is stock.
The car pulls pretty good with 200lb.ft. from 3700 to 6600.

Well done Big Howe on the new nuimbers, I've gone back to the early box, I only have to change gears 3 times in the 1/4 rather than 4, 11.64@119.5
The wife actually went 13.35 at 102 just using 1,2,3 at Mini In The Park.
I prefer the early box as I like crusing
#36
imagine the heart break on the turbo owners car when it made even less there at Churchs
and for those in England to realise how far they are behind after dynoing in the dynapak in England
get the meth kit and let's tune the jetta
#37
Given that the final drive ratio is the same between both boxes (i.e. 6th gear is the same), the early box will have no additional value in 'crusing'.

When you show us a time ticket then will eat humble pie, or even use Shawn's Vbox which Big Howe was going to use next time he was at Churches.

I saw your time ticket with the turbo car
nothing to write home about
better get your dyno recalibrated
if you want to see real world times look at the track records
they all have RMW on them
everybody wait for the reply:
I'm sure Paul will have another excuse why
