Forge BOV questions

I should be getting the forge bov i ordered in a few days. I've read over the instructions and everything seems easy enough, but i have a few questions just to be sure.
-What size Allen key is used for the removal of the screws for the solenoid?
-It says to apply some grease to the O ring. Is this grease included or just generally accepted that whatever you use is fine.

Redline high temp grease would be good for this application.

whatever you use will probably be fine, im not sure what size the allen is, but if you have a metric set of allens you will be fine. what i did that really really helps is i went and got a 3/4 drive with the right size allen on it. its about 4 inches long and helps the install go really fast.

Yea I think I'll go buy a set. I'm sure I'll use them eventually anyway

Does the BOV violate any warranty guidelines? I have always wanted this but I don’t want to have my warranty voided.

If something happens to your engine, just remove it before you take it to the dealer that way they dont even ask.

It depends on which dealer you also go to...my mini dealer cares less about my mods (even replaced my wideband O2 with a turboback).

My dealer is pretty genererous too. They key seems to be polite and professional and not go absolutely irate like some people on NAM.

I have heard some complaints that the Forge BOV might cause a CEL. Since the Forge BOV is close to the MAF sensor, the ECU sometimes will think there is a leak in the charge air system. At least it is easy to install/remove.
