pulley on a 2007?
still gettin my posts out here... so i read a lot about cooper owners replacing the pulley? what does that do exactly? does it save gas or increase speed?
I was looking to do a few more mods and make it a little quicker and was wonder if this pulley would do that...
thanks for your help..

Most likely, they are referring to replacing the stock supercharger pulley with a reduced diameter pulley, like this one. The newer, smaller pulley increases the speed of the supercharger and increases the HP. Unfortunately, the R56 went from a supercharged to a turbocharged engine in 2007, so this is not an available upgrade path. Hope this helps.

How? What? Where? When? as there is no PULLEY to replace I do not see how you have this done. Unless of course you changed the engine to a supercharged one, or you are talking about something completely different to what the OP is asking about.

Our crank pulleys are three pounds lighter than the stock. The reduction in weight is effectively the same power increase as removing 75 pounds of weight from your vehicle. You will feel increased throttle response and acceleration!
