I think jan posted that he was back home. I payed for the tune today as well but I'm not in a big rush. I'm going to have to use a friends laptop to get the tune files downloaded. I'm hoping I can get something done Sunday or Monday . It feels like Christmas . I'm getting giddy. Ha

It was a false alarm. The girlfriend is NOT pregers. Thank god I'm not ready(and probably will never be ready for it). I'm not asking to be put back on the list just yet. Let me see if I can swing it. A few other things that were much more important came up and now that there is no kid on the way I can get those things taken care of.

Jan,
will your tool work on a BMW E46 with a ASA SK1 Supercharger kit with a FMIC?

If yes, can my friend jump on this train for his car?

How much more power do you estimate he will get?

Everybody awaiting tune files needs to relax and give Jan some breathing room. It's going to take some time to get them all done with this many being sold in one large group.

I have the tool for my E93 M3 and Jan tuned it. I think the tool should work on an E46 but only Jan can answer if he can tune it.

Ok, just uploaded my tune and only 1 word can describe it....DAMN!!! Only got to do a few pulls up to the end of 3rd gear but I must say 2nd and 3rd feel like a totally different car. Car gets to redline much quicker and you can definitely feel the additional pull throughout the gears. What's also immediately noticeable is that the car doesn't fall flat on its face as you near redline. Later today i'll take it out on the freeway and see how 4th and 5th do, but for those of you that haven't jumped on this yet, you are missing out! Money well spent. Thanks Jan!

Jan updated my previous tune this past week at Helix and the car has been reborn again. The car reaches boost faster and holds it longer.

Just had my car dyno tuned at Jan's place. Jan spent quite a bit of time on my car, about 2 hours to be precise. He did a great job; seemed like my car has different programming than it should have, giving him some trouble.

My baseline dyno on the stock tune was 176.0 WHP and 217.2 lb/ft of TQ. After about 10-12 pulls Jan got it up to 204.9 WHP and 233.3 lb/ft TQ. He said the first pull was 209 HP when it was cold, so I'm VERY happy with 205 after so much heat gain.

My engine is totally stock with a JCW inlet pipe and JCW factory rear muffler only.

^^This.^^

Jan's already said that he's shipping the flash tool in the order people paid. Since he's receiving the better part of 100 tune files to individually modify, it's going to take him a few days to get through the backlog. Since this isn't the only thing he's doing all day, everybody awaiting a tune needs to show a little patience with him. Let the man work.

Yes, I'm planning for a dyno tune next time Jan is up in NorCal but this should hold me till then. I can't imagine the smile that will be on my face after the dyno tune and some mods!

Wow, those are some amazing numbers for a stock MCS! Could you scan and post your dyno charts if possible?

Here's a quick pic from my phone. I guess it's actually hub hp right? Who knows what the actual power is, but it's not a bad gain regardless!

Yes, Dynapack measures the hub hp. Thanks for posting the charts. Nice gains!
