Oh what the hell, put me down for one, I can always back out if I need to, I just want to reserve one at the potential lower price. Thanks!

Unit #2

Jan,

Please add the 09 JCW to the list under Umberto T, I will be his contact with you.

A couple of basic questions for his JCW, his 09 is set up this way.

Stock Intake, stock JCW exhaust, only mod is Helix Intercooler.

Can you present a generic tune matched to this simple mod. setup?

On the JCW would he see a safe increase of 20-25HP and a good TQ increase?

Thank you,
Don

I believ on a JCW you will only see a very small HP increase maybe 3 or 5 and maybe 20 or 30 ft of torque. (from his generic tune)

To get more from a JCW you will need Jan and a Dyno so he can work his magic

Jan,
It may be in the thread somewhere - What's the cost for the R50 flash tool? Car's been to the dealer a couple of times since the tune. Despite the fact I asked them not to reflash the car, I don't know if they honored my request....

the tool for R53s is $300, it's a completely different tool

you have the R53 flash tool as it's different from the 56

how these flash tools work...........

you download your ecu file through the OBDII port
transfer via USB to computer and then email me the file
I then modify the file and email back the file, you transfer it onto flash tool and then you load via OBDII port onto car. Should load in about 40sec

The file you send back doesn't cost extra does it. And you take into account the mods you have on already right. Also what's the turn around time to get your tune file back. Sorry to sound like a dip just wondering about how it all goes. Also it can clear codes etc right. I would like to have the cars power delivery to smooth out like I hear the other happy customers have gotten. And does the tunes help mpg on highway cruising?

we keep sending files til it's right
all mods are taken into account on EACH car
once you schedule a date with me, right at the time prescribed
I've tuned cars around the world this way already, on the dyno
Haven't heard from Dimsport if it will clear codes. Others have reported better gas mileage when they WEREN'T hammering the car

many will and then complain about the price of the tool when you have to buy them one off and pay all of the shipping costs and customs I'm eating that on this group buy so everyone can save. If they don't........well.......that's their problem

So you can remote tune whilst the car is on the dyno? Do you have any connections in the UK for this and are there any special requirements such as dyno type etc?

I feel a live mapping would be best, but you do have any idea of the differences in power available between generic and custom? My car is JCW tuning kit plus Miltek highflow downpipe if it matters.

live mapping is always best
where are yu located in the UK?
there is a dynapack in England , the rototest is similar
both are superior to roller dynos

Can you go back to your first post in this thread and add a description of the product and what it will and won't do? I think that will answer a lot of questions. I'm really interested. Just not straight on pricing for tunes.
