just hours away from receiving mine, I've got the software installed and updated...
post up some more videos and details on your tunes !
I'd been hoping the anti-lag from the Challenge cars was more of a rally style popping through the exhaust but I suspect this style is a little safer/cleaner.

Love the Turbo flutter and can't wait to hear that on my MINI. May 25th can't come soon enough.

Sounds just like the anti-lag on the Prodrive P2 . Sounds awfully like compressor surge too

put the usb drive into your computer, open the pdf file and follow the instructions, load the software, update the software and tool before doing anything else.

Quickquestion for those who have used the tool....

"Switching on or off the dashboard" in the destructions is equivalent to what? Turning on and off the engine or turning on and off the electricals (before pressing start).

Thanks! Getting ready to try out the tool in the next couple of hours.

I just did mine, switching on/off the dashboard is essentially turning the ignition on & off without actually starting, so don't push in the clutch. It'll take a few pushes of the start button to do.
I also found it a bit confusing selecting the module to read data from as their are several, but I believe you want to read from the module starting with 026---------, the others are likely the radio and acc and so on.

I have received mine, I have the USB drive in the computer but I can't see any files in it although, in properties it says there are 20 MB USED.

DOES SOMEONE HAVE FOUND THE SOLUTION?

Thanks

Thanks for posting the video....anyone out there with a MCSa willing to share if they get the same turbo flutter.

I was not sure if that is how it generally is done or if that was specific to the mods that onefish2 has on his mini.

Mine was like that too. Per Jan's earlier post, just download the files!

do you know the meaning of "switch-on the dashboard",
is that without the key and only pushing the start button?

Thanks

"Switch on the dashboard" = Engine off, Check Engine light on.

Been there

Insert key fob into start position, press Start/Stop button like you are trying to start the car, but do not depress clutch or brake pedal.

The whole process went really smooth and very quick compared to oem software updates I've performed while working at some dealerships.

A couple things that are confusing (don't exactly match the instructions) are the file (module?) names, I just used the first option both times 0261S------- and everything went w/o error. I haven't had it out on the street yet, but I'm not hearing the pop & burble, although it does sound a bit throatier. I'll have to rip around a bit this weekend

I don't like the flutter because it sounds too much like compressor surge, which I get if I don't lift completely when slowing my acceleration. Thank fully I don't get it in between shifts. I do wish, however, i got the burble that everyone said you'd get with the tune.

No "burple" on mine and that's because I didn't want it. Per Jan, it only adds noise, not power.

I put my stock intake on last night in comparison to see any differences from the ALTA intake (Im selling the intake because I went another route), and the stock intake is so DEAD silent compared to what I am used to now! It actually seems dead even with having the alta intake on....But the exhaust is now MUCH quiter with the stock box in.

I CANNNNTTT wait for my canned tune to get e-mailed back to me, almost scared! lol

Haven't got my tune yet, but I'm hoping it has at least the burble and ideally the flutter too!

I just got an e-mail back from Jan. He said mine is ready to go but I have a new version of software (I recently went in for the window dipping "permanant fix"), so he had to e-mail my file to Italy. Good news is his turn around time is extremely quick! I cant wait
