IMO if you are going to get a can, you want the BSH can. If you use it in conjunction with their dual boost port with the plug installed, it takes car of both PCV ports (one on each side of the valve cover) with one catch can.

Hi tominizer,
There are no issues with rain or snow with this CAI design. Hopefully some DoS clients in Saint Louis and other places that get frozen precipitation can comment further on this.
The hydrophobic filter wrap that DoS offers exists primarily for those who:
1) Like to err on the side of planning for all eventualities, regardless of how unlikely they may be.
-and/or-
2) Live in a place with monsoon-like rains.
Hope this helps.
-Clint

Here's what a quick YouTube search for Defenders of Speed will pull up . . .

Since I live near 09MellowJCW we decided to meet up and do a little show and tell with our JCWs and have some lunch. I went for a ride in his car and that was that. I am swapping my NM Engineering intake for the DoS CAI. I contacted Clint last night and he has already shipped my order out to me. Can't wait to install it.
NAM+peer pressure = more mods. Thanks 09MellowJCW and Clint

I won't work with the R53. I never pay attention to gas mileage, so I don't know about that. I don't see how it could though. Uless, of course, you like the sound so much that you're always on the gas

So even with a JCW, you really think I should get a DP? Riss or ED what is your advice? And can you give us an update on how your 02 sim is working out.

Unless you're building a race car like JamesHunt's car, I like the Exhaust Depot DP with cat for most folks that use their car as a daily driver and weekend fun machine. There are no CEL issues to contend with and it makes nice gains.
The ECU on the R56 keeps doing a really good job at foiling the efforts of any O2 sim that I've seen mentioned on this and other forums. Also, the A/F readings that I've seen up to this point indicate that the Exhaust Depot's DP won't throw flags at CARB calibrated and similar emissions sniffers come inspection time.

I've been reading on this thread:
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...s-and-cel.html
that the Exhaust Depot DP throws codes too, specifically on the 2009 models. So idk... i've gotten used to my cel It adds character!!

All that being said, it seems like modding will soon be relegated to rocket scientists as emissions standards continue to get tighter. (Mental Note: I need to add dealer tags to the performance section of the website. )

The only guy that mentions a CEL in that thread is orangecrush and he states that it was related to an injector timing issue, not the EP DP.
