Thanks for the reply
I have 3 inch downpipe back Alta, helix front mount, intake, alta boost hoses, noisemaker delete from a countryman, alta spring in diverter valve and the AcessPORT.. I already have the catless dp but didnt want to install it if the light will be on. Next on the list is meth kit and bigger turbo.

Never. I read through the whole forum and half of it was asking if it would be for the 2011's and the other half asking what map to run.
Mine is getting shipped today, I hope to get it soon and try it out. Shoutout to rlw

Ive got a weird one. I've had my AP for a little over a year now, and have not changed my stage 1 map for at least 6 months. Car runs good, very little idle surge, and shifts well.
About a week ago I filled up with 91 octane (my map is 92), and put a can of cleaner in the tank. I purposefully took it easy, being too lazy to change maps for 1 tank of fuel. The car seemed to run normally. Two times (including once after refilling with 93 octane), the car stumbled at heavy part throttle, 3500/4000 rpm for just a bit. This happened once before, maybe 5 months ago.
Now the car has incredible throttle response and pulls very hard. Nice response from a stop or coming out of a corner. I remember a similar reaction when it stumbled last year, ran really, really well after that.
Anyone had a similar situation with an AP? My car has 70k on it, and was at the dealer (brakes and oil change) about 3 weeks ago (I uninstalled the AP).
I'm not concerned, but it seems odd.
Have fun,
Mike

My car has been throwing a P2188 code (increased emissions) recently and running very rich (extremely black tailpipes). I've had my stage 1 tune for about a year too so I decided to go back to stock for a bit to see if the problem would go away. I must say, the car drives much smoother now and doesn't seem to be running as rich. However, today was the first time I really noticed how much power the AP adds to our cars. I was doing some WOT pulls on my way home from work on some backroads and the torque seemed like 2/3rds of what i had with my stage 1 tune. I didn't notice it as much when I went to the tune from stock, but going back to stock is a world of difference after I was used to it.
That being said, with my car getting close to 80k and needing it to last for at least two more years as a DD, I'm not sure I want to load the tune back on. I updated the maps via the AP manager today (apparently it had a lot to update as it took about 10 mins) so hopefully that may fix my problem running too rich. Anybody else ever have that problem?

Hi, I am new to MINI and do not really get the differences between the EURO and US models.
I live in Brazil and the only ones BMW sends down here are EURO models.
The only visible difference (to me) is the MAF, which we don't get.
I am really interested in the AccessPort and since I travel to the US 2 to 4 times year I'd figure it would be worth a shot trying it on my '10 MCCS.
Was the AccessPort ever tested in an Euro model?
I am also considering a cat back (Borla maybe) and the K&N Typhoon (which I'd still have to find a "dead" MAF to use as an adapter).
Any help will be very appreciated!! Thanks!!

If it seems like the car is trying to get more boost, but the car can't do it, then there's some kind of boost leak most likely.
