Alta is not pushing the turbo to failure by running too much boost anymore than Jan is.

The Alta tune does do a better job of holding the boost pressure right around 20 PSI though compared to my RMW tune.
I'm still on the stock tune so being in overboost is the only way i get up to 12psi on my '09. It sucks so bad. I bet my car sounds kind of weird when I'm constantly doing a double pedal mash to get into overboost. I cannot wait to get a tune to get some butt-tingling torque.

We are working on the 0-60 and quarter mile features on the AccessPORT and need some testers! If anyone is interested, send me an email at tech@altaperformance.com or a PM, thanks!

Hey guys,
I know there are fewer of us automatic drivers out there and thus the wait, but I'm itching.
Could you shed some light on the CEL issue?

Do you know why it throws the CELs and if so ... What codes are thrown?

cenobyt,

The auto AP is still in testing, but if you have a code reader, we can sell you an AccessPORT right away.

We have recently found from an auto tester that starting and stopping the car 4 times also clears the codes. Keep in mind that the CELs related to the AccessPORT are only temporary, soon we will have a fix. It should be ready in the next few weeks.

We are looking for auto tester in Austin TX area, to help us develop the auto maps quicker. If you are interested, give us a call and ask for me!

I went out to my MCSa and tested this. I reflashed my current map which caused the CELs to appear. On the fourth restart the CEL was still present. On the fifth restart, viola, the CEL was gone.

A quick double tap on the throttle does it for me on my '09.

i will see this double mash technique on my way home from work

Something i'd like to see is the AccessPORT be able to tell if you're Emissions ready or not, and if not tell you what parameters haven't been met yet... i know some 100 buck code readers do that like the one i use. just a simple red yellow and green light for emissions readiness and little codes flash up to to say which ones aren't met yet... like O2 sensors... fun little gadget to have. Also tells you what the codes mean when any of them come up.

how's that Dyno function coming by the way? Any testers for the 0-60 estimate and 1/4 Mile reader?

Sorry if this has been answered already in the previous 19 pages... but what about the burble and pop? That would be very nice.

Still an open question, as far as I know.
Would love to hear an official "yes", "no", or "it's on our to-do list". … well, ok, I would not love to hear "no"

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure burble and pop is included, AA batteries are not.

I have it in my tune but I've been one of the very early testers. I don't know if I have the final version of it or if Jeff is till planning on tweaking the map file for it a bit more. Therefore, I do not know if they are including it with the map files they are currently sending out.

I've had a couple versions of it, originally it was turned down a bit but Jeff turned it up for me several map files ago. He said if he makes mine any louder it might start interfering with my cruise control.

I love the way it makes my TBE sound though, it's awesome.

The AccessPORT does tell you exactly which CELs you have, with a description, if you have any CELs. Basically if you have any CELs, you aren't going to pass emissions.

We are working on the burble and pop, I'm not sure at this point when it will be ready, but it will be soon!

Why in Austin TX? Is it because Cobb has a shop in Austin? If it's ok, I'm from Houston TX and I'll be glad to be a tester for MCSA.
