ALTA has said that they will post its release on the first page of this thread when it does become available. Or, you can check their site and see what accessories are available for the 2011 MCS R56 -- very limited right now but more to come I'm sure. If the AP is available it will be itemized on their site in the 2011 category.

I got my AP for my 2011 JCW and she pops bad burbles all the time. With or without sport mode I took her for a couple laps around Nurburgring yesterday. Ran like a champ and no CEL's even though I was pushing it pretty hard. I will post a link to my lap on YouTube if you guys want.

You're so lucky to live close enough to the Ring for laps. I'd love to drive that track some day!

Had you ever driven there before? How did the JCW do?

I'd love to see your lap on YouTube as well.

3rd for the link.

The JCWs have pops and burble.. It's the regular S models that need help from the AP. Frankly though, I'm more worried about Alta getting the AP working for the 2011 S models than I an for the P&B. I'm swapping out my JCW for a S model soon. I'll hate going from a chipped JCW to a stock S.

Then go design your own program

They've only promised more power. They've never promised P&B.

I will post the link as soon as I get home. I want to load up an HD version of the lap. I've only done the two laps in the Mini.

I've done it once on my triumph daytona 675 and I've ridden it a few time as a passenger in my buddies new M3 and a 3 sedan.

The Mini did pretty damn good. I didn't know the GP part of the circuit was going to be open that day. Ran a 11:56 total, pretty respectable. I got hung up behind an Audi TT and another Mini that someone decked out with a rollcage and all.

My JCW is bone stock besides th AP running Stage 1. I've ran 5.5 0-60 with the run flats. Going to be putting on the Akropovic exhaust, front/rear sway bar, an possibly new shocks and springs as soon as I sell my bike in a couple of weeks.

I'm registered to take th Mini to Francorchamps in a couple of months. Hopefully I will have everything installed by then

I understand that a lot of people are anxious about the P&B, because hearing it on your daily commute makes driving a MINI even better.

BUT, the 2011s just came out, with different ECUs, along with the Countrymans. Don't you think they would be more eager to get those cars tuned before they work on something like pop & burble?? I wouldn't expect them to have the P&B worked out before they have the tunes out for the new cars.

The tune is what you bought the AP for, if you bought it solely for noise, well... that's just silly. I'd bet 99.9% of AP owners would say that making the car go fast is more important than what it sounds like when you let off the throttle. Like ALTA has said, have patience, and when they release a new tune for P&B... they will update everyone!

I'd be happy to trade my pop & burble for your accessport!

Couldn't agree more, one of the main reasons I bought the Accessport was because of the Pop and Burble and Alta stated that it was coming soon when I bought mine a couple of months ago. I understand that some people don't care about it and only want more power, but I along with many others here are dying to have this feature and it's taking way longer than expected. The accessport is one GREAT mod powerwise though.

well for the past couple of months alta probably put all their priorites towards getting the new 2011's ap up and running so probably look for a new p&b tune after we get our accessport cause then they'll be able to put all their time into doing that. and may i ask y did you spend almost $900 just for the pop and burble??
