I have the opportunity to buy a JCW intake/K&N Filter for my 2009 MCS.

Will I notice any increase in sound/performance with the JCW intake vs. my stock MCS intake? I am unable to find videos of a MCS with just the JCW intake for sound purposes. Thanks!

 

Well, I have the JCW Stage 1 intake installed on my 2009 MCSm now.

The car is bone stock (save the new intake). For anybody interested in running this setup here are my observations:

Throttle Response is slightly improved.
Blow off noise is louder.
Car is a little louder under heavy acceleration, but other than that there is no noticeable difference in engine noise.
Power seems to come smoothly.

 

No change in perceived power and very difficult to tell a change in intake sound.

 

I'm currently looking for the same answer to your question, I received a gift card from my dealer and I'm considering order this part along with the gasket. I'm debating on getting that or ordering some parts and then selling them as they won't give me cash...:(
