Have been running this for almost 10 Months now. Still working flawlessly and I am very satisfied with the purchase. I am running a stage 3 map pushing 20psi in winter weather and it has held up with no issues. Would recommend this over either forge or any other BOV/DV on the market. Running this on an Auto MCCS I hold 17-18 PSI when shifting and then right back to 20 but never venting as long as the car is under boost. No compressor surge and a happy turbo.

I would recommend against using it with the Forge BOV, since atmospheric BOVs can cause issues. A recirc style is going to be much more reliable and easier to maintain.

Thanks Man ill give them a look. It's always the little things lol! I got the boost sensor from a friend and wasn't even thinking about that part. I should've looked in to it beforehand. I think the Alta sensor comes with one installed. Either way it looks like ill be able to get the tubing on afterall.

Hey folks. Got the DV installed and wow what a difference it's made. I had some fairly annoying lag and this has cleared up just about every little trouble I've had. Well worth the dough.
By the way here is Jeff's blog post about the new CRV: http://blog.perrinperformance.com/author/jeff-perrin/

Very cool, Chris. Thanks for posting. There was talk of a resistor earlier . . . Have all the bugs been worked out? Is the design finalized, etc.?

Speaking of the resistor, while mines only been on a week or so I can say its much less of a worry than you'd think. I used some heavy duty electrical tape and wrapped the whole plug several times. I also loosely zip tied the plug (resistor facing upright) to a closeby line to keep it from resting directly on anything extremely hot. This was probably overkill but I figured, why not. The hardest part of the whole install was getting at the plug enough to where you could tape it successfully. Not a big deal though.
I can't recommend this DV enough. It's Leaps and bounds above the stock valve and makes so much more sense than something governed electrically. Less parts to break as well.
Like was mentioned earlier there is a change in the way it sounds when venting over stock, especially if you have an aftermarket intake. I have the DOS installed so I do hear the whistle when the DV vents but its minor and I prefer it. I like to hear exactly what's going on under the hood. It's nice to be able to tell exactly when the valve is open/closed.
