As soon as I get a reply from both I will post it. Maybe I can talk em into a group buy or something lol.

As far as the motors go up until September'ish all new S cars come with the N18 then "NEW Countryman JCW" debuts with the factory JCW N18 motor and from there it will roll out to the rest of the JCW family cars.
Once these have rolled out it will probably be it for development on the MKII chassis and drivetrains since the new MKIII MINI is already in development and due to come in 13 as a 14 model maybe sooner maybe later.

Just wana keep everyone informed this is the email I got from NM:
Hello,
Thank you for the inquiry and my apology for the late reply. We do have the program but we are still running beta versions on our test cars. We are planning to release them sometimes next month. The program for the 6-speed has actually been running smoothly without any issue, and we can safely put it as our final tune. We however still have a little bit shifting issue on the automatic one. The torque converter shift the gears slightly too early when the car is driven under 'D' mode. But really smooth under sport or tip.
So please check back with us sometimes mid next month. The ECU needs to be shipped to us for the procedure, which unfortunately means that your car will be out of commission for a few days.
Please do not hesitate to contact us again should you have any other questions.
Best regards,
Jerry T
NM Eng.
This is the email from RennTech:
Thank you for the inquiry regarding RENNtech upgrades for the Mini.
All that is needed is to remove the ECU and send it to us. It will be reprogrammed and sent back to you overnight.
Not sure who I wana go with. Renn is $945 and NM is suppesed to be $500
Renn says 221hp and 232tq
NM (from the article) says 202hp and 210tq

From what I heard, the issue is with contract negotiations between Alta and Cobb to deliver the information and therefore the tune so that the 2011+ MCS can be an option. Kinda sucks.
The individual at Cobb said that it's probably another 3 months at least from this point.

Why is this to speculative to you?? As of this point I would not put it past either company to be arguing over contracts(read MONEY) as the reason why the AP hasnt been released for the 11+ cars. Its clearly not that the new ECUs cant be broken at least for the 11 cars, we still don't know about the 12 cars ECU protocols yet.

At this point it seems like owning 2 ECU's and sending one off for Tuning and using the other for the dealership interaction, if that is even possible!
