Generally these are done by doing a 3rd or 4th gear pull around 2500 rpm to redline. You would records logs for the entire pull and then you can create a graph with the numbers or post raw data. This should show you what you need to know. Below are what I would want to see at the least.

Boost Pressure (actual)
Boost Pressure (requested)
Fuel Rail Pressure
Air/Fuel Ratio
Timing
Timing pull
Mass Air Flow
Intake Air Temperature (IAT)
Fuel Trims
Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT)
Wastegate Duty Cycle

It depends if they have the software and tools required to log a MINI. Some shops do, some dont, depends what the specialize in. I am surprised they arent doing this when they flash your cars to be honest. Just load a tune and hope its all good is scary to me haha.

Could the people with tuned cars post what kind of mpg you guys are getting now? Curious how much the tune has affected the mpg.

I called, but no one answered. So I left a voicemail. I guess I will see what they are all about. I probably won't hear from them if they decide to call me when I'm on a plane back to Michigan. So I will post later tonight!

MPG would be determined by the weight of your right foot.

I would say 32-33 combined is what i see. (I drive mainly PCH for work so start/stop)

Max I have seen is in the 40s. Lowest I have seen is around 19 (track).

Again it all depends on whether you are a big highway driver or city driver.

That link to their website still shows that they're going to announce something on 3/25. It's now 3/27. Hopefully it won't be too delayed...If this is as good as it sounds I will probably try to sell my AP

This is my fuel mileage as calculated by mileage/gallons purchased since the first of the year. My 54 mile daily round trip commute is about half highway (60mph - clear) and half street (35mph - stop lights)

Mods in sig. Tuned since beginning of December.

Agreed I'd still like to see what others dynos are,

But now I'm gonna wait for sure to see if this company legitimately came up with an OBDII for the MINIs. If so I will spend my $800 or whatever price for it. I called three times and no answer or call back from them yet. Kind of sucky service if you ask me.

Hey, while we're waiting to see if RYBREMINI blew up his MINI, does anyone have any experience with Alta's (stop it Alta haters!) Compressor Recirculation Valve aka: diverter valve? I'm almost out of things to buy/install and I like it's professed simplicity and robustness.

More info:

Alta Diverter Valve Install and Test Opinion (NAM thread)

Perrin Performance Blog

I don't want to hijack the thread but we do have until mid-April before Mini Dynamics announces. PM me if you or any of your MINI friends have any experience with this DV

Interesting thread over at the RMW forum talking about a N18 owner having issues with at tune from ETG trying to get some help from Jan.

Off topic but has anyone with an aftermarket exhaust lost the 2nd cat? I was thinking about getting rid of the 2nd cat. I am currently running the magnaflow full exhaust from the 2nd cat back.
