Now my next question would be: Does this also prevent 'owner' adjustment of 'coding' such as window up control, Euro hazards, etc?

Along with that; what if anything, would an add-on bluetooth transmission system that grabs data for display on an iPhone / iPad be able to do.

I've explained the hardware side of the block in-depth. Feel free to look back at my previous posts regarding those answers. (but you have the general idea, yes)

Coding is a separate issue that accesses the KOMBI/CAS/etc. For more info on that, you can use my thread, or GECKO's thread. We both have everything laid out quite nicely for that. I've been keeping everyone up-to-date with Datens, and everything is running smoothly.

You're straying from this thread's intended purpose on the other questions.

Quick question for those you have the NM tune(my last resort), is their tune for Stage 1 25-30hp and 30-35tq to the wheels or to the crank? Because Jerry told me that I could see anywhere from 200-210whp(93 and 94 octane here). But if someone has a dyno please let me know.

It's wheel horsepower... There have been some independent reviews of both Stage 1 and Stage 2 with dyno runs.

This was a Stage 1 review on an N18 6sp FWD Countryman.

Thanks Tony, I've searched everywhere but couldn't find anything.

I talked again yesterday to BrenTuning and now they are out of the question. So ridiculous. Also spoke to RMW today and they said it would be better to wait a little while longer.

I hope that Evolve can tune my car, I am just waiting on the word from them possibly by tomorrow. If not, hello NM, and I will get my tune next month. I mean 32HP/42tq to the wheels is very GOOD.

I was really impressed when I went to Stage 1 from stock. All I had at that time was an intake. It was a huge difference. Then I did the exhaust mod/DP and then the Helix FMIC.

When I went to Stage 2, I hadn't driven the car in a week because I was gone on vacation. While I was gone I had been driving my girlfriends car cross country, so when I got back into my car it was hard to tell how much of the power was the gain between Stage 1 and 2 versus how much was in my mind being that I had been driving a much slower car for the previous week/2000 miles.

I plan to get my car strapped to a dyno soon to see what it puts down. I'll be sure to post those numbers.

Yes, I believe we are trying to get HG setup for remote tune hw update. Hopefully it will be done soon. Great guys

Thanks! I will check the email. The N18 it's a great engine to work with, just need some more engine thermal management update for the mini Big power output increase!

Hey Lenny. The car runs amazing. Love the way it drives now. About 18000 miles since the tune. No issues at all. I need to bring it back soon since I installed the fmic and will probably have you guys do the downpipe too.

Great to hear that Kikk! Hope you had fun driving it back from Florida! Just being busy with some other stuff & I hope I can get the a 2013 N18 to throw flames for Theta .

Well, it almost the same.. since PAW will usually have customization to his customer needs & setup

Well I would have to send my ECU out since I live in Michigan. But I have been saying all I want is anywhere from 200-210whp/210-220wtq. My mods are FMIC, Hot side pipe(just bought), Panel Filter, and custom exhaust(2nd cat and resonator delete). Do you think I am able to achieve that or will I have to dyno to get that? Thanks for the quick response Lenny, I tried to PM you but it wouldn't let me.

Well, if it's simple engine mods (intercooler, exhaust, DP, etc) that's been tested with non-fluff parts that works before for a near stock engine. It should be simple.

If it's a highly / customized modified engine for X purpose application & requires more than just dyno, driveability, datalog samples, etc. That would take some X amount of time & test. I preffer them to send me the car.
