Read back a few pages because Terry has been very active on here about the information on what gains you can get out of their tune.

Email Terry and ask him any other questions you have.

as long as knock and AFR's are logged and acceptable during R&D I'm all for this simple upgrade. just want it to be safe, the days of Bavarian forged internals are a thing of the past.

Well while I wait for more local JB+ testers to turn up I'm busy at work on Stage1 and also adapting our quick install meth kit.

Cool, might be a nice alternative to folks who don't want to pay aquamist prices.

nice! meth will be great for those of us in this part of the country that can't get 93! i hope there are smaller tanks than the one shown - the WAF of that tank is going to be mighty low.

We are going to be able to install meth in our cars? Should we use Heisenberg or is that too pure?

Our kit with the 2.2g is $529, and integrates with the tuning for a full failsafe, progressive mapping, etc. Drawback is the 2.2g tank has a pretty large foot print. Advantage is the pump and everything are also inside the tank so its very easy to install. The alternative would be for someone to use our 1g kit and custom do it but that is a lot more work with probably minimal space savings in the end. Meth is not for everyone but is a lot of fun. No idea on potential power gains yet with this platform. We'll see.

I think the 2.2g is a good size. My current HFS-4 is 1g and I go through meth very fast.....hi my names NCF, and I'm a meth addict hahaha

Are you pushing it that hard? I rarely check on my tank so you must be revving the **** outta your MINI to be going thru it so quickly. Your controller was set rather standard too unless you modified it to inject earlier.....

This may seem trivial and off topic but can you enable a gauge sweep on start up with the CT? Favorite part of my buddies mk6 gti.

I know they can do it with the CAN tool for the BMW's but I am not sure about the Mini's. I am sure Terry will let us know.

The biggest factor is probably the .8 jet I jumped up to. The car absolutely loves the 100 % meth.
The .6 jet wasn't as effective in the 100 degree weather, my reasoning for making the jump to .8
Very noticeable difference

^I highly suggest not running greater than a .6mm because anything greater will only and possibly bog the engine because it may have too much water/meth in the system. If you're going to run .8 jet, at least apply a restrictor in the FAV. Doesn't really make any sense to inject so much meth on a daily engine

Largest restrictor is definitely in.

Backing down the THRES will certainly help with the consumption aswell.
