Yup, got the CAN tool as well.
I've tried looking for those settings when i first got it but couldn't find it. Terry notified me that at the moment only certain things are enabled.

16psi was a very noticeable difference from stock. Under full load you hit 16psi, then it tapers off to 14/15 psi.

Then the step up to 18 psi was noticeable as well.
Everything has been better then stock that's forsure.

The "safety " of e85 in mixes higher than 35% is a high comfort level of knowing you will not get per ignition aka knock. CooperFanatic, you raise the bost my turning that resistor **** one click inside the JB box correct?

Are you on an iPhone? Lol

Yes, turn it towards max, I found the 3'oclock position to be 18lbs of boost.

You'll have fun with the gauge hijacking. Blinkers go off as a shift light indicator, speedo can be set to read......actually here's a photo of what can be programmed. It's available publicly on the N54tech website. It's just a lot to type out haha.

well, add another one to the list, as i performed my civic duty to the forum yesterday...i suppose i had a bit of an incentive too. i swung over to simi valley last night after i sat for 18hrs of testing over 3 days. the trek took about 1.5hrs, but the install took about 3 blinks - the wait for the car to go to sleep took longer than the install of the JB+. terry and i took a spin around his neighborhood and we were registering just a hair over 16psi of boost. after a few passes up and down the street, and a little bit of chattin', i was on my way.
the car no doubt feels more peppy. i hopped on the freeway and zipped around a little bit. when in boost, the car pulls very very nicely! it was also fun watching the gauges dance around as i got on and off boost. as newcooperfanatic mentioned, the speedometer becomes a boost gauges and the fuel indicator shows timing when you're north of 5psi. it'll stay that way for a certain amount of time if you're off boost, and then revert back to its normal duties. i actually really like the gauge this way, b/c it gives me the information i want when i want it.
thanks newcooperfanatic for posting the sheet of codes. i was trying to figure out the CAN tool last night without it...haha!!

No problem!

Here's the link that has a video of how to toggle between settings with the CAN tool.

Terry is demonstrating in his BMW, but it's exactly the same for us MINI's

I've had the CAN tool in my N14 for a while now and I've been meaning to make a video but MINI's been in the shop for new pads and brake fluid flush for a week now....damn retaining pin on my stoptech snapped and has been quite the ordeal to get back up and running...

Needless to say I've been really frustrated this week and won't be up and running until next week seeing as I have to special order a new pad retaining clip now since the shop lost it. Sigh...

Could any of you happy guinea pig that have Terry's tune tell me if you have any changes on the " Pop and Burble " after installing the tune ?

And to Terry@BMS , can the tune increase and intensify the pop and burble ?

Thanks.

It does not change the pop and burble characteristics.

But if you want 12gauge shot gun pops you can always go catless!

you mean if you go catless it will sound like it's backfiring? that's the only part i hate about the pop and burble. i like the nice mellow rumble, but when it sounds like my car is shooting someone i hate it.

Pretty much, the burble is also more pronounced...but you can't get the louder burble with out the louder pop(backfire sound as you mention)

I like it, it gets people who are tail gating me to back off like 20 feet lol

that makes sense. I'm running stock exhaust with no resonator or 2nd cat and i absolutely LOVE it. I got in on the group buy of the evolve catless DP. just want to know what to expect. I wish you could code the pop and burble to last longer, or code out the backfires. either one would make me happy.

Oh nice! Expect hell to break loose when you're smashing the throttle, but docile when cruise =D

I've been catless the day after I got my car and I absolutely love it. 34k miles and counting!

welded 2 sections i bought at autozone together. and welded that in place. worked just fine. Honestly i don't want an aftermarket exhaust because i love the sound of it so much.

Well, installed the JB and life is good. As stated above the midrange pulls much harder and tapers towards redline. No ill affects with my auto trans what so ever. Boost for me spikes past 16psi, prob due to load based ecu trying to hit targets at 100 plus outside. Very impressed for an extra 2 psi, just what this car needed. A small mix E85 may happen next wk. Lets get more testers guys, email Terry and maybe he will let you test even though you r out of state. He does incentivize those who Beta test.

Im going to be happy with peak numbers but day to day driving is all mid range and i want all that fun there. And your review is making me happier with the news. But truthfully I just wish we could get a rough eta. More than a month? This fall? I want to buy a sprint booster and I don't want to keep money for this on the back burner if this is still longer out than we think. If I can buy the sprint booster and then same up for this it'd be nice to know

Does the JB remap the throttle any like the sprint booster? I know the sprint has multiple settings but if it does a halfway between sport button on and off I'd be happy
