Fault Code P0327 Knock Sensor Circuit Low

My mini went into limp mode today going up hill. Pulled fault code P0327. Didnt see anything posted on the forum about it.

Has any one seen this code before?

I saw that some of the ways to test are:
Check resistance
check voltage 5VDC

and its possible that the ECM has failed. But i'm not seeing any other symptoms faults.

Any suggestions?

You'd need a wiring diagram of the sensor wiring harness to be sure what to look for. I wouldn't say you have a bad ECU. If that was the case your car wouldn't even start.

The code means-

P0327 - Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Low (Bank 1 or Single Sensor)
P0327 - Knock sensor signal: Electrical fault KS (loose contact) of KS loose

Thanks,

Got that part now looking at trouble shooting it. I was going to check voltage at the sensor and if its below 5 volts swapping it out.

and FYI when the code was thrown

going up hill around 3500 RPM in 3rd gear around 35 MPH. Only was in limp mode for a few seconds until I stopped at the top of the hill then went back to normal .

Just got the same code. Anyone know where this connection is? I'm guessing it doesn't go bad often. I ran the last 2 tanks on ethanol free gas. Wonder if that has anything to do with it? I'm also due for plugs and msybe some seafoam.

My code first came on just above 3000 rpm cruising at 80 mph for about an hour in 6th.

My wife felt something similar about a month ago. Light went on and off before I could get it to the shop. Not sure what the code was but I lost a coil. I'm thinking another one is on the way out.

Got Same Code. Turned out that I needed a timing Chain Replacement with all associated parts like the tensioner & guide. Also needed 2 two Coils. Still have Knock sensor NB. Check Coils What I thought was turbo lag at 3k RPM's was a misfire. It was there when I first got the vehicle(Preloved) and after the timing Chain replacement. Glad the shop Checked all the Coils as one kept going every few months.

Mine ended up being a leak in the pcv lines. Causing it to almost stall then when it would catch back up it would knock throwing the code. My engine also would idle really bad after coming off the throttle.
