DIY Intake Box Problem

Hey all,

I've a '06 R53 MCS and I want to change my air intake box. I already have a custom made Intake box with AEM Dryflow. It's not perfectly fitted and it makes a very annoying noise. I know there are the two brands M7 and DDMworks but I don't like the appearance and they are kind of expensive for me. So I thought I could make my own airbox with a better appearance by using real carbon. For making the mold I'm planing on doing the same shape of the DDMworks or m7's intake box. Can anybody help me about sizing measurements of them? Because I don't want to waste money to buy one to just make a mold.

Or if you guys have any other ideas i would appreciate it.

have you looked at the Alta intake? they are a bit cheaper than ddm and m7.

+1 on this, the Dinan box is also very much like the stock box and performs as well if not better than the pricey DDM.

If those are the scoops at the bottom of the windshields, they don't really do anything and may be worse than the stock cowl intakes there.
