Without an intercooler and Meth kit I would not recommend touching the dial. Also there is no proven results saying you gain more HP and Torque when turned up. All different results pending Mods and Ambient Temps.

I am giving it one last test run at 2 O'clock position with all my Mods. If timing and AFRs are not within specs I'm moving on to a Manic Stage II Tune. Not worth the gamble, IMO...

I'm still trying to find info on where to get a manic tune is southwest Florida, I haven't heard much more on NAM about their transition over here.

Need some help with my Boost Gauge through Dash Command. I added the PID (CALC.BOOST_PRESSURE) is that the right one? I also added the same on in Data Grid so i can log the boost times.

JB+ comes in later tonight, can't wait!

I don't remember reading upon this, but could I run 110 ethanol-free octane? It's available to me so I'm just curious. Or better yet, what if I mix 4 gallons of that and the rest 93 octane? I'm trying to play around with the settings without using E85. Thanks.

Is it leaded, then do not run it in a motor with o2 sensors. VP-110 is leaded I believe.

Sent from my Nexus using NAMotoring

Plugs

Anyone running non oem spark plugs ? Thought it might be beneficial to go a step colder as I'm up to 7-8 on the ol fun dial but can't find **** for information on the n18 plug options . Pulled one out assuming it would be the usual oem mini plug ( NGK) but it's a Beru ?? Beru 12zr-6spp2-1 FYI .

Thanks for any input !

There are several threads on what Plugs are suggested, Beru's are stock on the N18 engines.

3 gallons of E85 on a empty tank, and the rest Premium gas. Also it's easier to measure if you always put the E85 in first

Stage 1

Where is this at? Will we ever see it? I remember seeing another video other than the one below of Terry doing a pull with the Stage 1 kit.

Not sure. With Manic cracking the N18 ECU via the OBD port there is a limited timeframe before true tunes hit the market.

Hey everyone: Had my JB+ for a week. Lately my Paceman has been rough idling and almost stalling when I start her up and then turn the AC on. Only had this problem since I installed the JB+. I have it set at 50% (stock setting) and I only use 93 grade fuel at every fill up. Any thoughts? I might take it off and see if problem continues, if so I will take to dealer. Its a 14 Paceman S All4.

I would first remove it, since it only takes seconds. Give the car a few miles to adapt back to stock. If the problems still occurs, then you know it's not the JB. It could be something very simple like a spark plug

I had a cold start issue similar to this. I believe that after a while the engine adapted and the issue disappeared.

Quick question, I'm honestly not sure how this works... should I go ahead and install the JB+ with my car stock right now, and install my intake and exhaust that will arrive later. Or install those, drive around, and then add the JB+? I'm sorry if this is a ridiculous question, I'm curious if the JB+ adjusts to its surroundings or if its just a flat gain regardless of additions made.

Install it today, the other parts can be added later. No issues
