bottom end and inside-oil-pan torque specs? not in bently
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has a source for the torque specs on
A. the oil-pickup bolts (they are M6x18mm bolts that hold the pickup line in place)
b. main bolts
C. rod bolts
d. main bearing cap bolts
etc.
None of the major engine stuff seems to be in bently. Or it's not listed in the index.
Any help is appreciated.

Torque specifications from Hayes and Chilton
Hey Soccerbummer, I know this response is long after you asked-- back in 2013,-- if you buy them, the info you need is in both Hayes and Chilton manuals. I have all three including Bentley. If you still need the torques, I can provide them but I am travelling so it will take a while. The hardest spec to find is the installed valve stem height. I got the height from a virgin head and verified it from an professional specification provider. suggest you be cautious in using the oil squirter torque, I snapped one off during assembly with the "recommended torque". Luckily it unscrewed easily using a easyout because it wasn't the thread that bottomed out, it was the flange. I even checked with Sneed and he showed the same torque. FYI, I am reading some of your other posts to learn. Safe travels.
