Posted a FEELER on my Aquamist HFS-4 in the Marketplace if anyone is interested.

Also! The NGK 1422 ILK Plugs dropped in price. They're now $40 a set!
When I bought it last year it was like $55

Jeff informed me that it should not be an issue with my current kit. Should have it installed this weekend, I will let you know how it goes...

Man I thought these Aquamist HFS-3/4 systems were in high demand? Sold like hot cakes last year!

I'm still trying to figure out how Mario got 270whp/310wtq.

I was bummed with my dyno results. I have fixed the boost leak since that dyno, but haven't gone back. Kinda focusing on the F56 DP and Intercooler

Well since I mentioned it in my build thread I should probably announce it here as well. Manic now has an authorized dealer in South Florida. The name of our company is Prototype-R and we are dedicated to pushing the Mini Cooper performance envelope, and developing new products for our favorite fun machine. Manic tuning will be our primary focus while we continue development of a new carbon fiber intake system for the R56, and a camshaft solution for the N18.

I also have to say thanks to Mario for steering me in the right direction, and for demonstrating what drive, determination, and an unwavering commitment to great customer service can accomplish. On NAM we are lucky to have many vendors whose level of service has set the bar very high indeed, and we pledge to do the same. To provide a level of service that exceeds what we would hope to receive ourselves. We can be found on the web at www.prototype-r.com and look forward to serving the Mini community.

Happy Motoring

Thanks John. We have lots of ideas cooking plus the projects we've already started. Just have to stay focused on tuning customers first and foremost, and continue the R&D as time permits. Of course time is the one thing there never seems to be enough of. For example switching to carbon fiber on the Proteus Intake was Rev 3 of the design (Rev 1 is shown on website) and the development cycle across those three revisions took about six months. But what's the old saying "It takes as long as it takes, to make it right."

Are you in talks with Nick about the cams for N18? Tuning wise?

We've discussed it with Manic via email and they have expressed interest in it. Which is a very good thing because you can stuff an engine bay with the best hardware available, but without the right software you've wasted your money.

Hi Lou,
I'm stoked you are on the Manic team and I'm flattered, I was able to help you with things. You have helped all of us and helped open many doors to make our cars monsters. Together, I know we will have successes and of course some painful learning lessons, but the only way to move forward, is by taking out of the box risks. We live on opposite coasts, and I have to remind myself we have never actually met.
Enjoy your new business, there is nothing better than doing something you love. Mini's=Money Pit Addiction

Rev. 4 will be the final production ready iteration with minor changes to fitment for ease of installation. We also want to ensure it will be possible to perform oil filter replacements without having to remove the intake. That has always annoyed me to no end. In addition all fluid and breather plumbing will be upgraded to silicone. And last but not least we need to revise the installation documentation for final changes and to enhanced clarity. Being a former Marine I'm fond of pretty pictures that help explain things. ;-)

Got my Howerton Meth tank installed, and so the fun begins. Pulling really hard in Map B today. Still have to cycle though the crappy Boost Juice, did not want to waste my good stuff (M1 100%). Looking forward to some test runs Tomorrow evening, 100% meth pumping right about 500cc/min on Map C

Yeah, I was running it for a bit before the tank leak. But now I'm using a larger Nozzle, New Tires, RSB & Torque Link. Map B is phenomenal. This is going to be a great week if the weather holds up.

This has eliminated my torque steer issues, both during turning and straight a-ways. A little pricey over the BSH lower mount or other inserts, but quality and performance more than makes up for that.
