I agree but it seemed like a lot of meth for map B. 500cc per min is what was recommended for map C from Manic.

The 500cc is not constant, so the more boost= more cylinder wall pressure, so that 500cc maybe go down to 450cc when driving just one map higher mQubed Motorsport, Manic Tuning Dealer

I'm using the Devils Own Micro Droplet Nozzle (DO7)

441cc/Min. A bit less than the recommended 500cc, but I like the nozzle Technology, and unfortunately this is the closest I could find to 500cc.

This Nozzle paired with the DO Check Valve and Low pro Nozzle holder, is working out sweet!

Today using Map C:
Ambient was 68... I was tracking 43deg IAT/11.5 AFR/10-12 +deg timing and climbing... Awesome power through all the gears. Need to get out to some nice open roads and Log

Yeah I just cleared out my PMs...

Not sure if there is any such thing as too Low of IATs... But I do know the cooler the temps, the more timing and boost available, within a safe AFR.

But so far my Tune is loving the new Nozzle. All hooked up, and no Leaks, I'm one happy Modder.

After you spend all your money on every bolt on for your Mini, the Tune lets you take full advantage of all the parts you spent time installing. I drive my GP on Map B 90% of the time and switching to stock, makes you realize how slow the car is with out the tune. I drive my Mini extremely hard every day, 7 days a week and it's the ultimate stress reliever. It's mobile therapy My own Big Valve Head is going to shock the V8 guys out there. My poor tires will be short lived mQubed Motorsport, Manic Tuning Dealer

Any specs (valve size/intake runners) for the Big Valve Head?

Yeah, mine is a daily driver too - can't imagine taking the train anymore!

Map B is Awesome! Though probably not as awesome as you GP.

Don't worry I will order my bigger turbo from you soon enough!

How much does it cost to put in forged Pistons and rods? And what brand do you guys use? Do you bore it out .5m - 1.0 mm larger? Or just hone the cylinders? Also do you need upgraded valve springs for stage 3?

I'm a little late to the party, but I had a Manic Stg 2 tune installed on my 2013 JCW yesterday and wow what a difference! I also had the WMW catless DP and a Forge FMIC installed at the same time so I'm sure that helped with the jump in power, but it feels like a whole new car. If anyone is on the fence about the tune like I was for a while, don't hesitate to take the plunge. It's pretty awesome!

After a short drive I switched it to map B. I think that is where it's going to stay though. I don't have a water/meth kit and I just run on 93 octane so I am going to play it safe. I will say there is a noticeable difference between map A and B.

There is a indeed a difference. Map A is power compared to no tune at all... but Map B seems to rush to the sweet spot of boost! When you experience Map C you will not want to turn back, but will hopefully make that conscious decision...

However I am an advocate for Meth on Map B. If you monitor your temps and all, the tune is just happier with higher octane and cooler temps both B & C. If you can't, IMHO: I would stay away from Map B whenever over 80deg ambient plus don't forget humidity factor..👍

Upgrading to a new JCW turbo next week. Should finally be able to hit target boost on 2+. Bad wastegate bushing.

You will be able to hit similar boost as Stage 1+ 1.5bar, but you will make it faster and for a longer window of time.

Yep. I have been chasing what the ECU is a boost leak but it is the wastegate bushing not operating properly, which is not allowing boost to reach target.

I had to pull ecu and ship it for my tune. Going to do it again in a couple of weeks to upgrade to stage 3 with my new turbo and meth installed
