I had plenty more in it I just ran outta room. I won't drive like that through traffic. I had a nice open stretch and seized the moment.

Yes, but the upgrade cost is only the difference between the cost of the stages, and usually a small fee to cover labor costs, and shipping if applicable. The labor charges varies by dealer.

I had not heard of any main board modifications. I'm still waiting for my hybrid turbo to get finished, then I was going to have it all installed at the same time. So I have the Aquamist HFS4 sitting in my garage just waiting, what is this modification?

Direct injection cars use low impedance injectors instead of traditional high impedance low pressure type injectors. One modification is to take the low impedance signal and amplify it. The other modification relates to gauge calibration. Haven't received mine yet so I don't know exactly how these changes are brought about (jumper, resistor, trace cut, etc.)

I upgraded to the JCW turbo and have been running map A. Been taking it easy on the car since install. Car pulls so much stronger. Target boost on A is 1.3 bar at 18.85 psi. I noticed I have been overboosting above that boost level to almost 20psi on map A? Might need a new map.

You cannot compare your tune to anyone else unless you know you have the exact same file etc.. some of the older N14's only get 1.4 bar on stage 2 + some of them get 1.5bar..

I will pull your file up and see what new tweaks have been improved on.

It might be that people having difference update versions might affect performance to some point between versions. It's all speculation at this point. I understand this all to well with updating the BIOS on computers, the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) versons will dictate certain parameters on performance.

First of all apologies for this question as I have not really kept up to date on tuning in the last 18 months.
Remap is the final thing to piece together my mods. DNA is local to me in the UK, as are other canned tuners. DNA seemed to get some good feedback on here, less so it seems here in the UK. Everyone now seems to rave about Manic, who incidentally are also quite local to me here in the UK.
As my car is a N16 early 2007 I believe the main benefits of Manic are that they are one of the few to be able to tune the N18. It also seems to be a canned rather than a custom tune. I also hear of updates available which seem to be a selling point but if you do not have a SPS how do you get these on your car, just take it to a dealer and they load the improvements FOC?
Not to mention the difference in stages which also seems to be something that files are already written for and are based on the hardware mods you will have made on your car, so why the extra expense between stages as it seems to be that each is a file created for a certain state of tune and surely it takes the same approx. number of hours to create a tune for specific mods? I can understand a surcharge for taking a car in with stage 1 and wanting stage 2 but why charge £100 increments for each stage when loading the first tune on ie stage 1 £500, Stage 2 £600 etc? Despite being based here in the UK it seems you guys in the US get a better deal price wise.

Cerenkov, you have the Manic Stage 2+ tune, correct?
I've still been considering Stage 2+, but what PSI numbers are you getting, and how is normal, daily driving compared to stock?
I'm a bit hesitant as my brother's N14 Stage 3 (Accessport) destroyed a piston at 65k miles, with 20+ PSI and a restrictive exhaust.
