Cnt highflow downpipe

I was looking at the cnt down pipe and I can't seem to find anything about it on the forums.
Does anyone have any experience with the CNT highflow catted downpipe? I've noticed it has a cat but it doesn't actually say how many cells it has.

I went ahead with the purchase and here are my thoughts.

Its really high quality with TIG welding.
It is in fact a 200 cel cat and will mate up with the stock exhaust and sounds great. At first it will appear the Diameter of the downpipe is smaller then the first cat and the actual turbo, its actually an exact fit when you mate it. As of 200 miles I have not gotten a cel by using one defouler on the top. It is possible that my prior evolve tune somehow got rid of the cel.

I will say in order to get the o2 sensor on the top the welds inside will need to be dremel'd (if you dont use the defoulers supplied) . As well as a portion of the mount brackets to truly get it to fit.

I want to stress be sure to remove all the nuts and bolts from the turbo housing; before matting the the downpipe to the housing. I stripped one of the threads and gave myself an exhaust leak, no fix to that.

I encountered exactly the same problem but as you say easily remedied.

When fitting mine I lightly bolted up the turbo bolts, lower bracket and the clamp to the cat back, that way everything is lined up. Then tightened up the bolts on the turbo all the way first, a small amount at a time on each bolt so it sat flush. The holes on the bracket are slotted and obviously the cat back has a flexible connector so do up the bracket first then the connector to the catback. I used new gaskets and have no leaks.

I got a CEL which I cleared using torque until I got my tune.

Sorry, I must have you confused with another member involved in a group buy, he was looking for a more aggressive tune running higher boost. I'll have to go back to the thread to check their user name

I'm surprised by that because a level 3 Evolve tune requires an intercooler and hi-flow downpipe. So I'm guessing you have a level 2 but when they emailed it to you it came with the title stage 3.

Also to answer your original question the CNT catted downpipes come with a 200 cel cat.

Honestly; I have no idea at this point. When I had it tuned, it was before the down pipe and fmic. I had the forge and nm parts on, so they said they sent me a stage 3. My phone call suggests that it's not a can tune and they actual remap the whole dme according to those present parts listed. So in theory my car was tuned for diverted valve and nm pipes at the time and I guess that qualified a stage 3 tune. except i was told it's an actual remap based on parts. With that said I'm just confused

Ok this what I found on their UK site

Stage 1. 210hp / 30hp & 45lb.ft torque, stock car.

Stage 2. 215hp / 35hp & 50lb.ft torque, intercooler.

Stage 3. 230hp / 40-50hp & 70-80lb.ft torque, intercooler & sports downpipe.

Stage 4. 240hp / 50-60hp & 80-90lb.ft torque, intercooler & decat downpipe.

Stage 5. 250hp / 60-70hp & 90-100lb.ft torque, intercooler, decat downpipe & cat back exhaust.

Stage 6. 260hp/ 80hp & 115lb.ft torque, upgraded intercooler, decat & cat back.

Also in their build thread they added a JCW turbo to the stage 6 modes and map it to approx 290hp. This upgrade and remap is not advertised on their site.

Hope this helps and can be used for future reference

I have a stage 3 evolve tune but with the catless dp I am still getting efficiency cels. I just upgraded the intercooler and rest of the exhaust again amd emailed them to see what the cost is to update to a higher stage.

That's very odd - in my case I was given a stage 3 tune- then when I stuck my downpipe in I didn't get any sort of cel
