Drivetrain GFB DV+ diverter install CEL idle map fault half power mode

GFB DV+ diverter install CEL idle map fault half power mode *fixed*
I just installed a GFB DV+ on a 2010 MCS with evolve tune, FMIC and large exhaust.
I can definitely see a difference in the boost gauge during shifts and feel less lag and quicker pull during shift.
I do hear the flutter that the instructions talk about during low speed shifts.
The problem is that after I make a full power pull after the last shift it goes into half power mode and using the app "BMWhat" its showing a idle MAP pressure fault.
I recycled the motor on the fly and the fault went away, and was wondering if it would just go away on its on.
Any ideas? pull the DV and lube it might it be sticking? Change the MAP sensor to JCW or something else? (althouigh I would expect the sensor is just reporting higher readings and its the ecu seeing something it doesn't like)

I have a wmw upgraded diverter solenoid (no part number on case.) With the db+ it makes a noticeable chirp when it activates. With that solenoid I get the fault and can recreate it on demand.
I put my stock Diverter solenoid on and the sound is definitely different. No flutter at low speed and no fault.
I even switched back again and the faults came back immediately, switched to stock solenoid and the fault disappears .
Not sure if bad sol or crack leak something but it worked fine without Dv and faults with

With the last post it's fixed and runs great with the stock solenoids and the dv+.
With the way motor works solenoid and dv+ it causes a fault
I don't think evolve can tune for the wmw combined with the dv
There is definitely an actuating difference between the way solenoid and the stock one.

so I know this was four years ago but if you are still about, I have the same issue!
Can I ask what you did to fix this?
thanks.

Hi Kupona, thanks for the reply.
My part number was T9352.
I bought a new Diverter and tried that with the GFB DV+ but still the same. I have installed the new Diverter on it's own and the power is much better than before, so I know my first Diverter is not operating correctly but I need to confirm if my DV+ is faulty too.
