Mini R56 Ported Exhaust Mainfold
Good Night everyone,
I am thinking about porting the exhaust mainfold of my mini cooper S this weekend (being very carefull with a Dremel and proper tools).
Will it change anything?
Because it should allow to flow air faster from the exhaust since there is less restriction.
Will I get a few hp or a different sound?
Thank you,
Francisco Lafont.

How did your port job go ?
I ported mine to my new Owens turbo, most of the work was just port matching the turbo flange to the manifold flange. I did clean up some of the casting marks . I used the new engineered 2lbs lighter manifold as well.
I didn't go crazy with it, just cleaned it up
