Anyone regret the One Ball Mod?

I'm thinking about having the resonator cut out of the R53, even went so far as to get with the local muffler shop today to explain what was needed and get a price. They are saying $60 bucks which I am fine with. My question revolves around once its done, it will be a chore to go back to stock. Have any of you done the One Ball Mod and regret getting it done? I know it makes the car a little louder, I just don't want there to be a drone while on the interstate at 75 MPH or something like that. I do like the thoughts of the exhaust not having to make the pass through the resonator before getting to the muffler. I also have to admit that I like the deeper sound and more popping and spitting that I witnessed via YouTube. I think it sounds more like the car looks.

Thanks for any feedback you share.

It's just a slightly deeper tone and more popcorn, never noticed any drone. When I did mine, it was mainly because the resonator was rotted and about to split in half, but it's a great mod to get a bit more sound without being annoying.

It hardly makes the car louder. I'd say it's a little raspier than stock. Once you've done the mod, you're not going back to stock with that exhaust system: it'd be too much work.

I regret it because the 40 bucks I spent I would rather have put towards a cat back exhaust. I didn't notice much difference to be honest with you.

Thanks for the feedback. I've got it scheduled for tomorrow and I believe I will go through with it. I think I was just worried about a drone since my wife drives it from time to time. I love the extra sound and look forward to it.
