Drivetrain Which chip? BMS JB, JB4, NM, RaceChip, WMW, Remus…?

Does anyone have more info on the WMW tuning box for the B48? I emailed way a couple of times and didn't get any response.

never heard of these guys, but from the looks of the box it is a rebranded tuner from TMC. I would stick with the Dinan stuff IMO, they have had great results thus far , plus they know BMW's and I hear they are working on a fully warranted unit like their higher end BMW counterparts. But, for a quick fix the Dinantronic sport module is great
Now, I'm just a customer and don't speak authoritatively, but the WMW tuning box existed before Dinan and some of the other options were on the market, at a time that RaceChip was selling their box for private labeling. I speculate that the Way box is one of those, and it's on the website because he has some still on the shelf (being passed over by the more inexpensive options now available).
But this is just speculation!
In any case, Way's a good vendor, with very competitive prices and fair shipping charges. (Half the time my credit card is charged for less than the website invoice because shipping cost less than the e-commerce system calculated. Way's shop could just pocket the extra few dollars, but they don't.)

There are quite a few threads on various ones. Its a good split between Dinan and NM. Then there are us that are opting for the Byteronik (or similar vendors) that offer a ECU relash.
Personally, I went with the re-flash. I feel its safer and you arent tricking the ECU with a piggy-back.

JB4 is a beast!
Hobbes is my 2015 F55 Justa automatic. Loads of fun, but nothing special. First, I installed a custom exhaust with a resonator and a Magnaflow (wake-the-dead loud without it) which added about 18 WHP. Then I installed a Dinan Elite, which was good but not great and threw two false CELs that Dinan could never fix (or never tried to fix). After a year, I sent it back for a refund and replaced it with a Burger JB4. Hobbes was a tiger before (see what I did there), but now he's a beast! I was hoping for a 40 WHP boost, but I was blown away when I saw the dyno results (92 octane Texaco, both runs; no 93 octane in central Oregon):
Stock + exhaust: 124 WHP, 172 WTQE
Add JB4 Map 1: 220 WHP, 227 WTQE
That's almost double the HP with no other mods. The power comes on early, strong, and progressive up to redline. This thing's a hoot! The JB4 was an easy install and worth every penny. Now I'm hunting unsuspecting GTIs.

Maybe different Dynos
Mustang Dynos read low, hence the heartbreaker moniker.
Dynojet reads hight, the dream maker!!

Hi, I am new here, just picked up a 2019 Cooper JCW! I am about to install the NM Engineering Power Module. In California we only have 91 Octane gas, is there a noticeable difference using the low versus high settings? Also my friend seems to think that the power gain is temporary because the car will self adjust after driving it for a while? Does that make sense?

As far as difference between the high/low, someone else will chime in with that I'm sure.

My wife has a '17 MCS Clubman All4 (6MT). Does anyone have the Burger JB+? I don't want to change anything else on the car, but I've always felt it was ridiculous that a 2.0T made a measly 189hp. The low and mid range has plenty of pull but the power dies off, badly, at higher RPM. It feels like a diesel. Does the JB+ effectively take the cap off to allow the car to make the power it reasonably should in stock form? If so, $200 seems like a bargain.
