Just for the record, we think the Torque reading on this DynoJet is reading a little bit off. As much as we would like to claim the 373WTQE since it's our tune, our map is only targeting around 400NM (or roughly 295 to 300 ft-lb of torque). The "delta" in HP and Torque are in line with our testing results.
Stage-1 Gains: +45 to +57 WHP / +60 to +78 WTQE
Agree. Look at before and after delta. The car is a monster!!
Always tune instead of piggybacking.

Reason: typo
Evolve Tune on Fully Stock Car (Apart from muffler delete).
**These figures are with California 91 Octane Fuel on a DynoJet"
Stock Run: 203whp 215wtq
Evolve Run: 249whp 366wtq
Gained 46whp 151wtq
Insane gains in torque! Same dyno day and everything, just map switched in between the runs with my laptop. Torque was 351 then 355 then 366 (which was the best run).
John- insane numbers!! Congrats. I thought your results must be a fluke and looked up Evolve... looks like about what they've been getting with other cars. Amazing. Lots of questions... biggest one- how much boost? And any idea how they are making so much more power than anyone else? And could that possibly be safe? Hah.
John I'm new to the party. New motor? Something happen to your old one?
Best,
Gene
^Yea, I'd like to know too. And why switched to Evolve? Do they have a long track record with BMW engines or something? I saw their M5 destroy a bunch of cars in the half mile race on youtube. What are the levels of boost their tune is pushing? Is it safe is the ultimate question I guess?
- F56 Cooper S 2015 - Milltek De-cat Downpipe, Forge Motorsport Intercooler, NGK Iridium Spark Plugs (Heat Range Rating 8), GruppeM Carbon Intake & JCW Tuning Kit incl. JCW Pro Exhaust. - Dyno used was a Dynomet Inerti (comparable in readings to Dynolog, 8-10% lower than Dynojet, not as "bad" as mustang dyno) - 4th gear was used - Best stock reading was 228bhp and 325Nm (239 ft lb) with upgrades before tuning, I don't know what it made before the upgrades, Mini claim 210bhp with the JCW Tuning Kit. - Result 301bhp and 415Nm (306 ft lb)
I have ordered Helix Clutch and Single Mass Flywheel to get the last few pounds of boost out of the turbo, OEM clutch won't handle more than this.
I will update the post once it has been back on the dyno with the new clutch and flywheel.

Nice! How does the clutch feel at the moment with all of that torque going to it now? What gap do you have going on your plugs?
Thanks!
Clutch is OK for now. Haven't experienced any problems so far, but I've only driven about 500 miles on the setup so far.
But in order to be able to use the last amount of HP/TQ I need a better/stronger clutch, I've ordered the Helix Clutch and Single Mass Flywheel, Helix clutch is rated to 368 lb ft.
I think we might be able to get 20-30 more HP and 35-40 more lb ft once clutch has been replaced.
Spark plugs. Tbf, I haven't done anything besides change the stock plugs for NGK High Performance Spark Plugs which has a heat range rating of 8.
Thanks!

Ah, thanks! That's good to know it's been working well so far. Your current numbers is where I'd be happy to be at. But tbh, knowing me, once I get to that point, I'm going to want more LOL. I'll deal with that when I get to that point haha.
Ah, I bought colder plugs too but wasn't sure if I should keep them at their pre-set gap (0.30) or change. Just sitting there waiting for me to install.
My clutch is slipping a bit, I think. At around 3k RPM when it hits around 20 psi, even in 3rd gear. 2014 S, RPM stage 1, Wagner IC, JWC Pro exhaust. A big difference was the Wagner, hadn't noticed the slip before that went in. Interested in a tune that keeps boost a bit lower at lower RPMs, but stays level or even increases as revs build. I miss VTEC, what can I say...
I haven't felt any slipping of the clutch yet, but I will admit that I haven't pushed it in 5th & 6th gear at "low" highway speeds, I don't feel like torturing my car just to feel the clutch slipping.
Although, I am looking forward to bumping up the boost a bit once the new clutch has been installed.
