Very Intermittent Oil Light When Stopping

2011 N18, with no oil consumption. All basic modifications with a JMTC 42mm turbo and RPM tuned were done about 6 weeks ago.

Immediately following the turbo and tune I began to get the oil pressure light when coming to a stop under normal slow driving conditions. Like 30mph zone to a stop light, gentle braking, in neutral. It is extremely intermittent, like once every three weeks. It goes off within 3 seconds (just long enough to freak me out). I have no oil drips, no consumption, engine runs like a champ.

The first time it happened was the day the turbo was swapped out after about 250 miles of driving. The first thing I did was the change the oil because my local shop said to check that the oil filter was not blocked/dented/etc - I use Liqui Moly 5W40 LL01 with a small amount of Lucas Synthetic, and measured it out perfectly. I also use a high quality OEM oil filter. About 3 weeks later after about 6 miles of driving the oil light popped on and off again in the same gentle stopping conditions. Then about three weeks later (yesterday) it popped on after about 6 miles of driving and the same conditions.

So it's happened about 3 times, about 3 weeks apart..... any ideas?

I'm a Gen1 guy but how much does a new oil pressure sensor cost? I would not screw around with a low oil pressure issue.

About $10 and 30 minutes. It's an easy change if that's what it is. I believe the sensor is only a sensor for the oil light and doesn't actually do anything other than light up the dash icon. Considering all the occurrences happened in the exact same driving circumstances I was wondering if it may be something else.

Chances are if it is something else than you do have low oil pressure, which is not good.
