Exhaust tips

Hello,

I have a MINI Cooper (non-S) with a Borla Catback exhaust. Will changing the tip dim the noise level?

Thanks

A tip with a smaller diameter opening will make it a little less rumbly. I don't know if you have much room back there for a tip, though. You might look into these noise-reducing inserts: http://new.minimania.com/web/Item/NME1024/InvDetail.cfm
One of these might work if the tubing is the same diameter.
